Cambridge City 0 - 3 Hednesford
Barnett Leads Pitmen In Final Push
A tense afternoon between two sides pushing for a final day play off place was decided by an outstanding second half performance by Tyrone Barnett as Hednesford Town secured fourth spot while Cambridge City cruelly lost out.
A late equaliser by Brackley Town at Truro saw the home side fall out of the picture after being played off the park in the second period with the visitors scoring three unanswered goals to send the travelling hoards wild.
A relatively even first half saw John Kennedy chip over for the home side while Ben Bailey hit the side netting and Barnett's follow up from an Elliott Durrell shot was bravely smothered by Zac Barrett.

The Pitmen's fortunes turned dramatically when Josh Craddock replaced Adam McGurk on fifty-six minutes and within sixty seconds the cultured midfielder swept the ball into the net from ten yards.
Barnett headed an Aaron Gibson long throw into the bottom corner on sixty-six minutes and with eleven minutes remaining a mistake by Barrett let Barnett in to cooly secure a hugely important victory for The Pitmen.
Both sides looked to be heading to the play offs before late drama saw Cambridge fans wallow in desparation as Hednesford fans danced gloriously into the end of season lottery.
