Chippenham Town 0 - 1 Hednesford
McGurk Glory As Pitmen Snatch Last Minute Victory
Adam McGurk was Hednesford Town's hero as his last minute free-kick curled in off the far post to send The Pitmen travelling supporters into feverish celebration.
The ninetieth minute winner came after Stuart Brock had sensationally saved Lewis Powell's sixty-eighth minute penalty following a clumsy Sean Platt foul on Ross Adams. Chippenham should have scored from the rebound as Ben Highmore's follow-up was desparetaly hacked off the line.
The sloping pitch at Hardenhuish Park was not condusive to quality football as Steve Casey for Chippenham and the imperious Liam Francis for Hednesford dominated the aerial battle.

Ross Dyer had the best chance of the game on forty minutes when his close range shot following tricky wing play by Dorryll Proffitt but Hednesford could only watch in agony as Ian Gill superbly pushed the ball onto the top of the bar.
Powell looked lively for the home side and tested Brock twice in the first half with a classy chest and volley on thirty-seven minutes and a swift turn and shot on the stroke of half time.
A nervous and disjointed second half saw Tyrone Barnett stretch to reach a Josh Craddock flick on and Sam Allison fluff his lines for the home side when his chance beckoned.
Brock and McGurk conspired to set Pitmen pulses racing and send Chippenham fans home dreaming of what might have been as both sides continue their enduring run-in to the final weekend of the season.
