Chairman injured in freak accident
Our club Chairman, Steve Price, was injured last night in a freak accident near to his Devon home. Steve fell sustaining a number of fractures to his leg and feet and is currently being treated in hospital in Torbay. We all wish Steve a full and speedy recovery. We have been notified today that we have been drawn away to neighbours Chasetown FC in Round 1 of the Staffordshire FA Senior Challenge Cup. The match is scheduled to be played during week commencing 18th October 2010 and the actual date will be confirmed in due course. FA Cup and FA Trophy news
Prices for the pre-season friendliesWe have agreed the following prices with Stafford Rangers FC for The Chase Trophy competition which will be contested over two legs similar to last season. Adults: £5, Concessions: £3 and Under 12's £1 The first leg will be played away at Stafford Rangers FC on Saturday 17th July 2010, with a 3.00pm kick off. The second leg will be played at Keys Park on Saturday 24th July, 3.00pm kick off. The Pitmen will be looking to keep hold of the trophy which they won last season 4-1 on aggregate over the keenly contested two leg competition. The prices for the two remaining friendly games against AFC Telford United and Kidderminster Harriers on Tuesday 3rd August and Saturday 7th August respectively are as follows: Adults: £6, Concessions: £4 and Under 12's £1 Revised League ConstitutionFrom the Zamaretto League website 10-6-2010 'Salisbury City have lost their Appeal against the Football Conference decision to exclude them from membership of the Competition and will now line up in the Premier Division in place of Weston-Super-Mare who will continue to compete in Conference South. It is hoped that this will now be the final alteration to the League's constitution.' The revised constitution of the Premier Division is as follows:

This incident is going to be the subject of a report to The Football Association and may lead to charges against the club, which will have to be answered. As such, we would be grateful if any witnesses to the incident, or spectators who saw the match officials leaving the field and anything else of relevance, could send a written statement to the club, stating exactly what they saw happen. The statements should be addressed to the Club Secretary at the address on the header of this website. All statements will be treated in strict confidence.
